   i remember this guy who used to have windows mobile previously and then was completely swept over by iphone when it was released in 2007. now he has seen touch hd, he is unable to digest the fact that its way ahead !
   i’ve seen both and tried them, believe me, touch hd is far better- in terms of hardware as well as user interfaces which you can have from third party.
   iphone just looks like toy with a few good features while taking away your independence to customise looks and functions,

   in fact ,better say that you would feel paralysed after using iphone for few months.see video carefully, he just compares the interface- no functions,hardware, limtations,third party applications , muliple programs working at the same time and so on….
   ask them who have used it - instead of deciding just on hype or a single review.

   that would make the windows mobile a better smartphone since third-party support is much much larger

    Your argument is illogical. The earliest shots even leaked of the LG Prada were in late December 2006.

    Basically, the timeline doesn’t jive with when the iPhone was announced with the final prototypes, the FCC filings, the Macworld event, etc. revealed to the public on January 9.

    Basically, it would’ve been pretty much impossible for Apple to have copied the LG Prada design for the iPhone. They simply wouldn’t have had enough time to do so.

    So you mean the Windows Mobile Smartphone was not actually considered a smartphone until the latest version 6.1 was released a few months ago? Because prior to that it didn’t have copy/paste either.

    Your point is just invalid. Copy/paste doesn’t define a smartphone. If anything does, it’s third-party development.

    no apple pwns at stealing patents and getting away with it. and Xerox is a n00b for tring to sell their ideas to apple before they patent them. just about every one of their “innovations” was stolen

    they are aiming for two different audiences, when will people, iphone is mainly just a luxury phone where as windows mobile is a pda/smartphone

    i jst dont get it… Y ppl want the windows phone to be like a Iphone… Y ?? u want a iphone buy a fucken iphone u want a windows on buy a windows one simple… i prefer windows one its more practical where iphone is just for media lovers thats it…

    yea but put it to a comparison to iphone 3g…. and really i have an iphone an iphone 3g and a htc with windows mobile 6.5 and to tell you the truth i was firstly using iphone and then the windows mobile and i was wasting my time searching to find a single file! and the touch is 1000000000 times better on the iphone…

    Gee, and here I though that you know, not having my appointments and so on visible on the lockscreen was a -feature-. Someone steals my phone, they don’t have access to my calender, etc. Course, since I’ve jailbroken, I could add this functionality if I really wanted…

    Also, you know, Unix at the core beats WindowsCE with a new UI any day in my book.

    BUT! Different strokes for different folks. Find what works for you.
